Tacoma Farmers Market

Thursday a few of my friends and I went to check out the Tacoma Farmers Market. We had a great time and it was so wonderful to be out in the sunshine for a while. I got some beautiful flowers, some fresh steamer clams, and a bag of Kettle Korn (my favorite). Here are some great pictures that my friend Linnea and Allison took.

4 1/2 months old now!

Now that I'm 4 months old I'm starting to sit up and play with more toys. Here is my favorite new toy, the Rainforest Jumperoo!

The doctor gave me the okay to start rice cereal in hopes that it will help settle my tummy. Believe it or not we actually do get food IN my mouth, not just all over it. My cousin Ben and I. He is almost 2 months old and I can't wait till we can start playing!

Fun at Lake Okaboji

Over Memorial Day weekend Joe, Cherry, Shaun, Finn, and I flew to Minnesota to visit Shaun's brother David and his family. We traveled down to Iowa to their cabin on Lake Okaboji for a few days as well. We had a wonderful time and Finn did really well. It was his 2nd vacation, so he's becoming quite the traveler. Here are some fun pictures from our trip.

Fun with Finn

These past few weeks have brought a few changes to our lives. Finn is now sleeping all by himself in his room. This was a big step for our new family (mostly for Mom and Dad) but we love walking into the nursery in the morning and seeing a big smile on his face when he wakes up. I also tried Finn in his new chair that helps him learn how to sit up properly. As you can see we are just learning how this works and don't quite have it down yet. :) Hi mom! Why did you put me in this thing?

Finn also just started sucking his thumb lately.

And he definitely likes to play in his activity mat but boy - it is hard work.
