3 Months Old!

Finn is 3 months old now! Shaun and I can't believe how quickly time flies but are so glad to be at this new stage of life. Finn is such a joy every day and is so quick to show us his smiles and laugh and giggle with us. He's holding his head up about 90% of the time and learning to grab onto many things (like Mommy's hair...). Can't wait to see what the next 3 months bring!

When Barf Attacks

Shooting on location.
This is only fulfilling about 10 percent of Finn's barf potential. You never hear him toss his cookies, you just hear (or feel) the SPLAT—which sounds like someone threw a cup of water on a tile floor.

My first haircut!

We gave Finn his first haircut on Monday. There was definitely too much hair on this kid. Little did we know that he has the exact same hairline as his Daddy! Now he looks so much like Shaun to me. He's also holding his head up about 90% of the time. Such a big boy - he'll be 3 months old in just a few days.
This is him doing his best imitation of Shaun. He LOVES watching his daddy!

Finn's 1st playdate!

So, Linnea and I decided to get our boys together for their first playdate. It's so crazy to think they were just in our tummy's 3 months ago. And now Soren is about to have his 2 month birthday and Finn is almost 3 months old! Here's some fun pictures of our time together.

Almost holding hands - so cute!

Both Linnea and I were given matching outfits for our baby showers. Thanks Allison!

Future troublemakers for sure.

And the many adventures of Soren and Finn begin!

Kempston Catch-up

Shaun, Finn, and I serendipitously traveled down to Sacramento last week to attend my college roomate's wedding. It was fun to see old friends and have everyone meet Finn. He did incredibly well on both plane rides (au natural of course-they banned kid cold medicine, remember?)- Shaun and I beyond thankful. Here's a brief moment of Shaun and I enjoying dinner while Finn was sleeping during the reception. Today was also my cousin Mary's baby shower. Baby Caseley is scheduled to arrive on April 14th and we are all so excited to meet our new boy or girl cousin. Mary looked beautiful and had the glow of an expectant mom awaiting her new baby. Finn joined the party a little late but was still able to take a picture (although asleep) with his new cousin-to-be. Two grammas for the price of finn.

Learning how to stick out my tongue and talk. He's very verbal right now (like his dad). I'll be posting video's soon of his 'talking.' He usually tells a lot of jokes.
